No, just no. What little useful information in the book is disguised behind a call to be a self-centered, pompous human being in order to "be yourself." If you have to do that to find out who you are, then perhaps you're a lost cause. Even good ideas get turned on their head to serve his warped sense of being oneself. Stay away and find something with some rational and useful ideas that would improve both you and the society in which we live, rather than improve you at the cost of everyone around you.
This book is a must read for creatives everywhere! It certainly helped me change my thinking in regards to certain aspects of my life, and put others into better perspective. Highly recommended!
A lot of good stuff here, and the writer has moments of being very engaging and motivating. While I appreciated the message of confidence, for a lot of the book it felt less like confidence and more like an over-inflated sense of one's own importance, which is not really that helpful for someone picking up a self-help book. But ultimately I didn't get a lot out of reading this, so perhaps I am not the target audience. Thank you for the opportunity to read it and provide feedback.
