Description
What if we begin to be ourselves, honestly and fully?
Insanely Gifted shows how to transform our thinking and turn our inner demons into allies. How to reframe disappointment (because not getting what we want can be as interesting and useful as getting what we want). Through techniques to become aware of our Inner Critic, and exercises such as Full Body Listening, Catto invites us to better know our deepest instincts and unlock our true power.

Unique and interesting book. The author writes in a very personal and honest style. Some parts were very inspiring and uplifting but others were a little dark and heavy. I don't find it useful to recall and rework past difficulties and would prefer the more positive slant. Some of the exercises were excellent and I can see myself using a selection of these in the future.. The simplicity of the 'like me' exercise was very clever but very powerful. Excellent for putting things into perspective, and not taking things too personally. The self care document exercise is also very effective. If I am honest I found all the bad language a bit off putting and unnecessary. But overall the book is very good, and brave. I read so many books in this genre, and it is refreshing to find something that is different from the mainstream. The cover is brilliant - probably one of the best I have seen in a long time. It exudes possibility, genius and potential all in that little picture. Overall excellent - thank you
