Description
How long will it take to get to the truth?
When psychologist Anna McColl is rendered homeless by a house fire, she finds temporary accommodation in the annex of a house owned by Eric Newsom.
It is only after she moves in however that she learns that Newsom’s wife Nikki had been stabbed several months previously, her body discovered in the kitchen by her small son, Charlie, and the killer never found.
The police still view Eric Newsom as their number one suspect, but Anna is convinced vital clues have been overlooked.
And as a psychologist, Anna is never really off duty.
Soon, a mysterious caller begins to leave her hints about the murder.
A difficult student has taken to following her around town.
And Eric Newsom begins to randomly disappear, leaving Anna alone to look after little Charlie.
Concerned for Charlie’s well-being, Anna suddenly finds herself swept into the ongoing murder investigation.
But as the details of Nikki’s life grow ever more complicated, will Anna be able to work out the reason for its brutal end?
Living in Dread is a gripping mystery thriller, which reveals the complexities of family, friendship, love and murder.
