Author Daniel Rowles in Mobile Marketing did a good job of seperating the material for the beginners and the pro. Material meant for basic audience is in the front and all the gory details, what he calls tactical are in the centre.
If you want to be in on the latest cool thinkers in the field, studies and what QR codes can do, then this is it. He stresses on the importance of having a strategy to your digital marketing. There is a handy checklist in the end for mobile marketing success.
And when the driverless cars get prevelant, he asks us what the erstwhile drivers are going to do in the car with their free time, about 10 hours a week and smartphones are only getting pally not less. So more Mobile Marketing!!
This book is a must read for any one working on a customer journey marketing strategy
This was a pretty interesting book. I did not know that the mobile marketing field included so many tools and strategies. As a marketing and tech geek, it was incredible to read. I loved that the author wanted to help business owners integrate mobile with offline marketing. This is one of the first books that I saw that do this. Great job! I do think a little more could be added to help business owners determine which marketing technology (let's say you're a Mom and Pop store that is intrigued by the future of marketing, where would they get started!). Overall, it's a great book and I can't wait to see what else comes from the author.
