Evolution of a Young Man in Love

For Joseph Hawking the clock is ticking. The ominous prediction of a palm reader is about to come true, and there is nothing Joseph can do about it. Joseph was born with superhuman abilities but has chosen to live a quiet life as a high-school English teacher in Austin, Texas. He soon realizes that he cannot hide from who he is. When Joseph teaches evolution in his classroom, he sets in motion events which force him to face unresolved issues over his unique evolution, and his feelings of guilt and anger over the death of his girlfriend. When an old friend, a new lover, and a stalking serial killer enter Joseph’s life, he begins to feel a controlling force outside himself, and he is compelled to decide about using his abilities before the predicted tragic event occurs.
