I hadn’t heard of Louise Bourgeois before reading but as I love this book series, I knew she would be inspirational. I certainly wasn’t wrong! My daughter and I were fascinated learning about how Louise’s grief influenced her artwork and led to her making such an impression in the art world. A must read - very interesting.

Louise Bourgeois by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara.

This is my third book from the series "Little People Big Dreams". Like all other, in the series, this is also a graphical biography. It narrates the story of French-American artist Louise Joséphine Bourgeois best known for her large-scale sculpture. The illustrations are very nice and good to go with the story.
