The book is beautifully executed with patterned pages and the poems well spaced allowing for slow digestion. It is perfect for dipping into time and time again. There are other books in this collection based on different themes and together they would make a lovely gift. Overall an excellent book.

This is a collection of translated poetries, originally written in by a court poet, Jalaluddin Rumi. This book contains all the friendship poems of Rumi. Rumi is considered as the greatest Persian mystic poet.
Each poetry is unique and interesting.
I found the poetries delightful and intricate, lyrical and touching. His writing style totally mesmerizes the mind of the readers. The translator has done amazing job of capturing the poet's sentiment in in this book.
The first thing which grabbed my attention towards this book was the poet itself. I am a big fan of Rumi. As soon I loved aesthetic cover as well as the beautiful illustrations throughout the pages of the book. The illustrations resembles the pattern of Mughal art, which kind of does justice for the poet.

The beautiful work of Rumi. I love this collection of poetry that expresses all that’s beautiful about friendship. I highly recommend this collection.

Beautifully written, poetry that makes you reflect on what friendship is and what it means to be a friend it's heavy to get through as it is a translation after all but still beautiful. It's poetry that anyone can relate to and find a connection to deep in their soul.

This book is beautiful and each poem is about friendship, relationships and Rumi's life experiences.

I have always been a big fan of Rumi, but this book takes Rumi's brilliant words to a whole new level. The focus on friendship makes this book incredibly giftable. What I love most about this book is the decorative designs surrounding each poem giving life to Rumi's words. There are so many nuggets of wisdom inside these pages that you will find yourself referring back to this book again and again. This book gets my highest recommendation.

The Friendship Poems of Rumi is a collection of poetry translated by Nader Khalili. This lovely volume is translated into easily readable, enjoyable phrases. Although the title is confusing, as many of these poems do not seem particularly connected to the theme of friendship, the artwork is simply stunning, with beautiful patterns in vibrant colors throughout the text, accenting the text nicely. Slightly distracting are the titles, which are simply the first line of each poem — it makes one feel as though one is reading the first line twice, rather than a real, considered poem title. Regardless, the artwork and formatting, font included, is beautiful.

This is a lovely addition to any poetry lover's collection.

I have not studied any work of rumi earlier. There are a lot of translations available online in form of ebooks.
But this is a beautiful Book. It is colorful and charming.
There are lovely backgrounds on which poems are written in large font.
Art is like embroidery on domes or like a royal cloth.
I liked the poems. There is no doubt that author is one of the greatest poets of all time.
Structure of the book and division in sections makes reading easier.
A good work to read a great poet speaking out of a beautiful book.
