Description
When Macy Wilcox agrees to play Mrs. Claus for the children of Christmas Mountain this holiday season, she has a firm idea of what her Mr. Claus should be like: ambitious (how could he not be with a whole world to cover in one night?), logistically-minded, and good at organized list keeping. But when Cal Bradley turns up as Santa, he’s the opposite of what she expects.
First, he’s late. Second, he comes from straight off the mountain so his fake beard looks windswept and he’s wearing ski boots instead of highly polished black boots with gold buckles. And third, Santa is not supposed to have abs like that.
There's trouble at the North Pole from the very start as Macy, the realistic, down-to-earth business owner, and Cal, the eternal optimist and fun-loving kids' ski instructor, disagree on everything from the Naughty and Nice list to the ingredients for the sugar cookies.
Every time Cal promises to deliver a child an extravagant gift, Macy tries to step in and keep things realistic. And every time Macy tries to lower expectations, Cal raises them even higher. Macy believes Cal can’t come through on these promises. But the more he spreads his holiday magic, the more she wants to believe in his promises. With a little Christmas magic, Cal might be able to show Macy that the most unpractical, ridiculous, eternally optimistic gift of all is love.

I've read most of Hatler's Blue Moon Bay Series and that when I fell in love with Susan Hatler.
As always this author writes a humorous romantic story with nice characters.
Fake Husband for Christmas is book #9 in the Christmas Mountain series.
A sweet, loving story that captured me from the beginning to very end.
The writing itself is fantastic, effortlessly fun and totally clever.
This book really exceeded my expectations.
I was anticipating a fun read but this was just so much more than that.
Her easy writing style and the ability to write characters that I readily identify with bring me back time and again to her books.
If you haven't tried a book of hers yet.... Start with any book really, they are all wonderful reads!

Thank you NetGalley, Susan Hatler and Hatco Publishing for the copy of Fake Husband for Christmas. This is my personal review.
This is one of the books in the Christmas Mountain Clean Romance series.
Macy Wilcox has agreed to play Mrs. Claus even with her cookie business seems to be crumbling.
Cal Bradley turns up and he plays Santa. Cal does not fit the profile of being a Santa, but Macy will be fine with that because he is one good looking Santa.
This is one fantastic book. I loved the connection between Macy and Cal especially when he calls her “wifey”. The chemistry is there between the two even with them being completely opposite.
Susan Hatler has written another great addition to this series.
I really enjoyed this book by SusanHatler. It was very interesting and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. .
This is such a fabulous book I really adored Macy and Cal who both came together just when they needed it. I really enjoyed their banter and was rooting for them both straight away. This is such a cosy and festive book, Is it too early to say I'm ready for Christmas!!?
A great Christmas read, full of feel good charm especially the interaction between Mr and Mrs Claus and the children. There is so much to enjoy in this book, cookies, snow, Christmas trees and of course romance. I think it will be a definite Christmas winner of a book
Loved having Christmas time in spring. A great break from the day to day I was rooting for Mr. and Mrs. Claus the whole time. Well written with an easy flow I can’t wait to find more books by Susan Hatler.
Super cute read. It kept me on the edge of my seat on what would happen with Macy and Cal and the fate of Macy's business.
Macy and Cal volunteer to be Mr. and Mrs. Claus for the holiday season. As they get to know each other their relationship buds, but does everything go wrong as Macy's business crumbles?
I love holiday books and this one is no exception.
