Description
The first story of the Zodiac Tales, The Tale of Cosmo, The Adventurous Sheep, is about a brave and adventurous little ram who feels ready to take on the world. All his life, Cosmo has spent his days on the beautiful island of Chios, sun-kissed and blessed, grazing and playing with his friends without a care. But now that he’s a bit older, he is determined to learn more about the world and the mysteries that lie beyond his familiar surroundings.
Bold and curious, he sets off on a quest to carve his own destiny. Like all Aries, he is stubborn and perseverant and will stop at nothing to accomplish his goals!

The Tale of Cosmo was such a cute story about an adventurous ram! The illustrations were bright and cheery. I really loved the theme of leaving home to expand your horizons, facing challenges along the way, but overcoming them with determination.
Beautifully illustrated.
A very much book for children about independence and storming out alone when older.
Beautifully written a very enjoyable read.
Oh this is totally cute children’s book! As an Aries, I loved reading about Cosmo’s journey. While I don’t necessarily believe in our star signs being more than just something fun to look at, it’s still fun to think about.
The illustrations are beautiful!
Charis Papalas scores with a novel idea for a series of children's books!
The Tale of Cosmo, the Adventurous Sheep is the first in a series of books about each character in the Western Zodiac. Cosmo is a ram, corresponding to the zodiac constellation of Aries, and much like Aries-born people are said to be, he is stubborn and adventurous, deciding to leave his home in search of a place he can call all his own.
The illustrations are bright and colorful, and Cosmo himself manages to be small and cute even though the art is fairly realistic. It's a very cute idea for a series, and I can't wait for the rest of the books to come out to see what adventures my children's zodiac sign's characters will go on! Looking forward to the rest!
This is a really sweet picture book about the zodiac sign Aries, a little ram who works hard and seeks adventure, which are personality traits attributed to Aries. The story brings in some elements of greek mythology as well as the ideas related to the zodiacs while telling a fun story for kids about a ram who never gives up. As a grade 3 teacher (and a lover of astrology) I would definitely choose this book for my classroom library. It is a fun story that can also teach about a belief system and Greek culture and history. I would recommend this book to teachers and families of children in the 5-10 age range. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book!
This was super cute and super sweet. I was grinning the entire way through. I mean, who doesn’t love a book about an adventurous sheep am i right? This was a delight to read. I love adventures and I love sheep. This will surely get your children in the happiest and joliest of moods while reading!
I absolutely LOVED this book! I have an interest in astrology and my son does to. It's such a great way to get children on board with astrology. The story is so cute and it does teach independence to children among other things such as being adventurous. So cute so sewwt, gotta love the book!! I cannot wait to read more children's books from this author.
I received a free copy of the book and is voluntarily writing a review
