Growing Up with Bendie the Squirrel: I Can Make My Bed is a really cute story about a young squirrel who learns how to make his bed! I loved the song that was in the story, as that can be used by your own child to make their bed! The illustrations were fun too.
I found this book to be the best way to teach your children to do chores and to be successful at the same time. They have a special board set up in maybe the kitchen. She requests the child meet her at the I Can board. She then has her son, Bendi the squirrel. He will Reach into a fishbowl of possibilities. Chore they will learn today how to make his bed. She will demonstrate hhow to do it and even has a little sing song song to sing as he does the chore to remind him of each step. When it is his turn, he messes it all up the first few times then his mom gently reminds him to sing the song. And that made all the difference. He started doing everything in order. Then he had to sleep on it and he dreamed about it. He was successful the next morning. He was able to claim a gold star and place the chore onto the star then mom pinned it up on the I Can board. So now mom can pick chores from the I Can board to assign each kid. I think this is a splendid way to be sable to assign manageable tasks. As a mom that is how I saw it as an account t that could be used for the greater good of the family. Unit. Yes, I loved this book. and can wholeheartedly recommend.. special thanks to #NetGalley, #EnpowertoEngage, #TonyandNicoleDavis, for the opportunity to early review the e-book, #GrowingupwithBendithesquirrelicanmakemybed..

This storybook is such a fun, interactive read for the young readers on how to learn to make the bed. The struggle is real for the young we all know but such books are a huge help in encouraging them to do such chores.
The illustrations are colourful and add fun too.
