Loved this book! So silly and fun, Would love to use this book during speech therapy to keep kids engaged! Beautiful pictures (and I loved they the dragon reminded me of Figment from EPCOT).
I loved the colourful illustrations and the fun rhyming. The story itself was quite fun and it made me giggle. This is the perfect book for children!
I am writing this together with my 7 year old daughter.
We loved The Hot Cross Bunny. The story was engaging and a fun, quick read for young readers for Easter time.
I loved the illustrations, they are bright, beautiful and quirky. They have been done with love, care and attention and are clearly done by a professional - not a collection of clip art like some children's books we have reviewed in the past.
The story was fun and unique and something we both recommend. Five stars and a big thumbs up!
Thank you to NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group, and Carys Bexington for this ARC!
The Hot Cross Bunny was a super cute story, with the main characters, Steve and Nugget, trying to make a chocolate egg for their Easter egg hunt. When Steve is unsuccessful, he sets out to make a chocolate egg with his own ingredients.
I absolutely loved the rhyming and it totally reminded me of The Grinch. My 5 year old twins couldn't stop laughing. They were able to understand the story and found it just as enjoyable as I did.
I would absolutely recommend this book to others! It's a cute and creative Easter read!
