Sweet Temptation

Lucy Diamond is one of my favourite chicklit authors and it’s always good to see her books making it into audio form, thoroughly recommend this adaptation

This is a women's fiction/romance book, which is light-hearted and full of fun. I really enjoyed it!

The story is about a woman called Maddie who joins a weight watchers group, and there she meets two new friends, called Lauren and Jess. We are shown all three of them as they go on their journey to lose weight and feel better about their bodies. Along the way, we have a good laugh and cry with them, as they overcome their fears and help each other to be more confident. The three of them support each other, and this is lovely to see.

The audiobook narrator was perfect for the job, and she had a nice, calming voice, which suited the story.

I loved this sweet and funny book, and recommend it highly. I also loved the book cover, which is really beautiful.

Aw, this was brilliant!

First off, let me just say that if you can get your hand on the audiobook, it is totally worth it! <3

This is a great story. It is really three stories told by three women, and it all comes together in a uplifting and empowering statement to all women - You got this; You can do it; and most importantly stand up for yourself and DO NOT SETTLE for anything less than you deserve!

I love Maddie, Jess and Lauren and the friendship they build in the midst of all shi.. happening around them...

I really want to read it again already...

The slogan for this book could not be more accurate.
I love lucy diamond and this book was no exception. The story was really brought to life by the narrator who I love listening to. She hit every emotion of the story and you could really differentiate between each of the characters and made the story flow so much.
The story was everything you would expect from Lucy it was real, honest, relatable story which really hit home. Hated Charlie though which shows how well it was written

I read this book quite a few years ago and it was so nice to be able to revisit on audiobook. It was just as good the second time around.

The story centers around three women, who wouldn't normally mix, who become friends during a Fatbusters meeting. The three go on a great journey together and I just loved their conclusions. Such a lovely, but a rollercoaster of emotions, romantic comedy.

I loved the narrator she gave the characters depth, her different voices for all the characters was spot on and made listening a joy. I would definitely listen to more of her audiobooks.
