Description

Have you ever been told to 'buck up' or to 'get on with it'? Needed time off for anxiety and/or depression and watched the people you work with pull away from you? Felt alone?

Life is developing all the time and, more often than not, it can take a turn and lower your sense of wellbeing. Anxiety and depression is unfortunately very common, but there is a solution. Welcome to a life to be in Jennifer Allan's insightful new instructional journal, A Life to be Mindful Network.

Jennifer has suffered with anxiety and depression since the age of fourteen. She feels it's something that, unless you have been through it yourself, is difficult to explain to people who have not. She's fought hard to bring herself back, trying a multitude of things, including medication, but none have succeeded long term. This is when the concept of ‘a life to be’ began for her. To develop a more permanent way of championing herself and ultimately, getting her through to the other side. Now she'd like to do the same for you.

With sections including mindfulness and actual journalling of passing days, Jennifer hopes this method of expressing yourself will prove as helpful a tool for you as it did for her in managing your mental health. Journalling helps prioritise problems, fears and concerns, whilst tracking any symptoms day-to-day so you can recognise triggers and learn ways to better control them. It also provides opportunity for positive self-talk and identifies the stressors that cause you to react. While journalling is only one aspect of a healthy lifestyle to manage your mental health, Jennifer hopes this can be at least a beginning step on a journey to a more mindful and peaceful future.

So let's begin.

Have you ever been told to 'buck up' or to 'get on with it'? Needed time off for anxiety and/or depression and watched the people you work with pull away from you? Felt alone?

Life is developing all...

I am sure this journal will help some people out there.
