if you love gods and monsters this is the book for you, you will be gripped, fall in love and gasp at the twists and turns in this book, its an intense gripping read, make sure your clear your whole day because you will not want to put this down.
It’s no secret I am one of Alexandra Christo’s biggest fans, so when I say I adored The Night Hunt, you probably aren’t surprised.
But there’s just something about The Night Hunt that exceeded all my expectations, that worked its way into becoming one of my favourites by Christo and that, that is something that isn’t easy to do.
If youre looking for an engaging and dark read, that you won’t be able to put down… The Night Hunt is it. It’s a story about monsters, alliances and revolution, with otherworldly places and the question of what really makes a monster.
Our two main characters, Atia a monster who breaks the rules and is cursed to lose her immortally and a herald of the Gods, Silas who enforces their will, are perfectly matched. The interactions between each of these characters is not only witty, and sure to have you clinging to every word but draws out of each of them realisations about the world in which they live.
The magic, the setting AND THAT PLOT TWIST are all things I could talk about for hours. But, its the found family within this tale that really holds my heart and Atia’s realisations about family and friendship, that will stick with the reader far after the last page.
“Family isn’t only about blood, but something far more rare and sacred. A bond forged by choice”
*chefs kiss* perfection
Alexandra Christo has done it again! Another fantastic book that I was able to devour and cherish.
Absolutely loved this story and the plot. Got instantly sucked into it and I cannot fault it whatsoever, I was addicted!
The characters were amazing, the main four of the story were intriguing and a fantastic group of unlikely friends!
Can't wait to see what Alexandra Christo does next!
