I loved this book!! I am a fellow crazy cat lady, with 4 cats (also a partner and 2 kids however!). This book is for cat and dog lovers alike, and literally brings a smile to your face, It emphasises that whatever is going on in your life, a cat will always make things better :)

I loved this book! Even though I am dog lady through and through I loved the premise of this novel and I love the message it sends to readers. It is a story about a woman who potentially has it all but feels as though someone is missing. I loved her journey to find her happiness and I am so excited for readers to enjoy it as well. I finished this Novel feeling refreshed and inspired and I know readers will do the same. This book is for dog and cat lovers alike ;)

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Cat Lady is another winner from Dawn. Everything Dawn writes is magic, and I was thrilled to be given the chance to read Cat Lady.
We meet Mia, a happily married hardworking woman who adores her cat Pigeon. Piece by piece, Mias world around her crumbles, and she doesn’t know how to put herself back together again. Along the way she learns that she can’t do it herself, it really does take a village, and hers is the most unusual but special one of all.

I think Dawn O’Porter is brilliant! I’ve read So Lucky and was pleased that her sense of humour has remained the same. - Marmite fanny anyone?!

I really loved this book, full of quirkiness, warmth but also heartbreak as the book deals with pet loss. (I cried every day for a month when my cat Rufus died, then the days got easier and it is reassuring to know that there are other ‘crazy cat ladies’ out there!) There is no such thing as just a pet 🧡

Thank you for Netgalley for my copy.
