Such a refreshing YA! What immediately came to mind was the movie The Edge of Seventeen. If you enjoyed that, you will enjoy this book!

I absolutely loved all of the characters and their friendships. I can totally picture this as a movie! The way they accepted eachother with flaws and all, and help eachother face their fears was so heart warming. Im a sucker for diners and I love that they have one particular diner they always go to (think Riverdale!) Everyone needs a group of friends like that! This will inspire you to face your fears and go on an adventure with your best friends.
Audience: Mature teens, adult

This is an entertaining YA/adult story. From the title I was surprised with this gentle story of growing up, of friends standing by each other, of romance and love, of acceptance of feelings, of big life decisions, of leaving the safety of home and finally being ready to come home. Thank you to BuzzBooks.net and NetGalley for the ARC. The views expressed are all mine freely given.
