Description

From the author of Little Bones comes The Brother, a heart-stopping, twisty, addictive thriller that will keep you up all night.

Is murder in her DNA?

My mother lied to me. My family is not my own. If it wasn’t for the genealogy test, I would never have known I was the child of another woman. Now I’m learning that I have four brothers I have never met. And one of them is a serial killer. My brother is taunting me to play his vicious game – solving his clues before he spills more blood.

Who can I trust? How can I find and stop him before it is too late? And what if it is me he really wants?

I really enjoyed this audiobook. At first I found the make narrator hard to listen to as he spoke so slowly but once I got used to his character it suited him perfectly. There were many twists and the story kept a good paste. I would definitely recommend.

This is probably the most twisted book I’ve read in a long time. Similar to the gut wrenching murders in Robert Galbraith’s books, this book really goes to that twisted place few people can imagine. It kept me guessing from start to finish and I just couldn’t stop listening. I loved the audio book as the narrators were perfect for each character. Would really recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a thriller or sickening who done it.

This is bloody brilliant isn’t it! Great characters and a plot with more twists than a twisty thing. Devoured it in one sitting

Downloaded this audioARC from NetGalley.

It’s a book with a strong and unusual plot, so I should *love* it, but in the end I just liked it a lot - the main characters are just horrible people and it was the strength of the writing that kept me reading. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I really enjoyed this book and was gripped from the very start.

Fallon has discovered that she has four brothers that she never knew about, following the results of a DNA test and just after that, she is told that one of them is a serial killer, having been matches by DNA from the crime scenes, but with a whole new family to get to know, how is she going to work out which brother is the killer, while not accusing them all when she has only just met them?

I really enjoyed the alternating POVs of Fallon and the killer brother and the twists that kept coming as she gradually manages to gain evidence to either suspect or clear each brother.

The killer’s method of choosing his victims was very clever and the characters were all well developed.

Charlotte Worthing and Jack Bennett are excellent narrators.

5⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, N. V. Peacock and Bolinda Audio for an ARC in return for an honest review.
