"President Trump–Again?+by Earl Ofari Hutchinson is a short book. I read it in one evening. For a short book it does cover a lot of ground. And I should mention that my review copy was very current, covering events that happened just a few weeks ago. I thank Netgalley and BooksGoSocial for the privilege of reading this review copy.
Earl Ofari Hutchinson (http://www.thehutchinsonreport.net/earl-ofari-hutchinson/) reminds us of things Donald Trump has done to prepare many Republicans to accept his “big lie” that he really won the 2020 election. He discusses the implications of his many criminal indictments and his opinion of the direction of his 2024 campaign to regain the Presidency.
President Trump–Again? is a good book but a bit depressing as it considers the possibility of a felon as President.
This book delves into the potential strategies Donald Trump might employ for the upcoming 2024 election. A significant aspect of his strategy revolves around addressing past grievances and unverified claims stemming from the 2020 election—a narrative that may resonate with a substantial portion of the electorate. So far, Trump's playbook prominently features rhetoric reminiscent of his campaigns in both 2016 and 2020.
However, in contrast to the 2016 and 2020 elections, Trump now faces the impending possibility of criminal indictments and potential convictions. These legal challenges could raise significant constitutional questions regarding his eligibility to run for president. The debate among constitutional scholars on whether a convicted felon can serve as president adds a compelling dimension to the upcoming election. Brace yourselves, as the journey to the White House in 2024 promises to be a tumultuous one.
