My 1st grader enjoyed Bennie’s story. I enjoyed the genuine facts about bees. From the amount of honey 1 bee produces, their ecological importance, life span and other random facts. Some things even educated me

A delightful children's picture book that not only educates but also entertains. The story centers around Bennie, a young boy curious about the role of bees and wary of getting stung. However, with the help of his Aunt Beatrice, readers are taken on an engaging journey into the world of honey bees and the crucial role they play in our ecosystem.

This is a cute story that does a great job of explaining the importance of honey bees in our ecosystem.

Bennie is upset after being stung by a bee. Which is understandable, because he is allergic! But his aunt Beatrice is a beekeeper. So she takes him for a walk.

While they are outdoors, Bennie's aunt take pains to explain the many, many ways in which bees contribute to human life, and how miraculous they are - from their special stomach for nectar, to the way in which they communicate with each other through a series of dances, including the intriguingly named waggele dance!

This is definitely an excellent book to share with young kids, to give them a better understanding of and appreciation for bees. Something that is particularly important in the current era, when they are becoming endangered. Particularly since that, by extension, endangers pollination and the security of human life. So this is a really important little book.

My review:

I think it's a cute but compact with educational knowledge regarding bees. It would be a good reading resource as it tells us what exactly bee did in prospering our nature, from pollination to the colony systems.

Apart from well done illustrations, the language are easy to understand and I honestly love the level of BEE-knowledge incorporated in the story, there's a lot new infos i got from it and i guess it will be far educative among younger childrens.

Thank you netgalley for the advanced reader copy!

This is a cute children's book, which is about a boy called Bennie who wants to learn more about honeybees. My daughter and I loved this book, and we really enjoyed reading it together, as we found out more about bees, such as the dances they do to communicate, the sounds they make and why, their anatomy, what they eat, what they do to help us, how long they live, and much more.

The images in the book are really nice and colourful, and the text is easy for children to read. Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
