Description
The Amazon no.1 bestselling romantic comedy from Robert Bryndza.
'This is men,' said Gran. 'When they vant you, but you don't vant them, they stay. But let them know you vant them, they no longer need you, and they go! It's like that movie, Nanny McPhee...'
Natalie Love has worked hard to have it all. She runs a successful London theatre that's about to host one of Hollywood's leading stars, Ryan Harrison. She's pretty sure she's found her man in yoga boyfriend Benjamin, despite his annoying habit of saying Namaste! every time he speaks. And her eccentric, glamorous Hungarian gran is always on hand to offer sage advice and steaming bowls of goulash.
Life in the bright lights of London has always been Natalie's escape from her chaotic family in rural Devon and Jamie, the childhood sweetheart she left at the altar fifteen years ago. Until he turns up at her theatre door...Jamie is in town producing a West End show and with rivalry suddenly clouding old feelings, this isn't quite the reunion Natalie was expecting.
Will Benjamin prove to be Natalie's perfect match? With Ryan turning her head, Natalie is more confused than ever. And what about Jamie - could he be her second chance at first love?
Can Natalie escape her love triangle... before it becomes a wrecktangle?

"I've read Robert Bryndza's DCI Erika Foster thrillers, and I'm astonished that he's the same writer for Miss Wrong and Mr Right! It's the funniest book I have ever listened to. I laughed out loud many times. I was sad when it ended because the characters had become friends who I cared about, and that alone is the sign of a great audiobook!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Audible listener
"Loved it. It made me laugh and cry. More please, Robert, you are so talented!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Audible listener
"It had me laughing on the bus home from work on more than one occasion (Yes, out loud! I forgot I was in public)! This book is one we can all relate to, from the family members who we love but annoy us to the crazy grandmother we love but drives us nuts, from the relationships we feel are so right but end up so wrong, to the unexpected lovers, from friends to the possibility of second chances..." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Audible listener

I loved this book. I laughed so much and I loved this main characters so much. The narrator was wonderful. I listened to it in a day.
First Five Star
Immerse yourself in the delightful fusion of one of my cherished authors and a captivating romcom, resulting in an exceptional literary experience. My day unfolded with the enchanting narrative as the backdrop to my work, transforming a five-hour shift into a joyous escapade. Despite my initial reservations about romance, this book won me over completely. As a devoted enthusiast of Robert Bryndza's thrilling novels, adding this gem to my collection was a no-brainer.
Venturing into the realm of romantic comedy, originally published in 2016, I eagerly embraced the opportunity to explore whether Rob Bryndza could seamlessly transition from crime fiction to romcom. The answer, I discovered, was a resounding yes.
The audiobook, skillfully narrated by the incredibly talented Jan Cramer, proved to be a highlight. Cramer's mastery in effortlessly switching between diverse accents added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience.
In typical romcom fashion, the storyline unfolded with lightheartedness and frivolity, featuring Natalie as the central character entangled in a love 'rectangle' with three men. While one contender bowed out early on, the suspense regarding the remaining two persisted until the satisfying conclusion, sprinkled with laughter throughout.
Beyond the narrative, what truly captivated me were the characters – an area where Bryndza consistently excels, even outside the crime fiction genre exemplified by his Erika Foster series. While romcoms often rely on stereotypes, Bryndza skillfully transformed them into comical caricatures. From Benjamin, the yoga guru, to Gran, the glamorous Hungarian immigrant with a colorful romantic history, each character brought a unique charm, leaving me both enamored and amused. Gran, in particular, remains a personal favorite, and while I entertain the hopeful notion of her receiving her own book, I acknowledge it might be wishful thinking.
This romcom adventure has solidified my admiration for Bryndza's versatility as an author who seamlessly navigates between crime/thrillers and romance. I eagerly anticipate any future forays into this genre and would undoubtedly become an avid supporter of such endeavors. Completing this book in a single sitting, I wholeheartedly recommend making time for it – the perpetual smile it imparts is well worth the investment. A resounding five-star read awaits you as you embark on a journey to meet the Love family. Click the link below and immerse yourself in the charm and humor that await.

Miss Wrong And Mr Right
Robert Bryndza
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is my first read by this author and it was absolutely brilliant!!
We begin with Natalie leaving Jamie at the altar - she loves him, but just isn't ready to get married at 19!
Fleeing to London with her Gran and best friend we flip forward 15 years....
Now, it's pretty obvious right from the first few pages just where this story will end up - but omg! it's an utterly hilarious journey from start to finish!
I loved Natalie's character. I faltered at the start - I mean leaving her man at the altar is not cool! But seeing just how her life had planned out since, I really warmed to her.
After a string of failed relationships behind her, could boyfriend Ben be the one?
Will Hollywood heartthrob, Ryan, make her theatre the best in London?
Or will the return of Jamie opening a rival theatre just over the road, be the thing that puts her over the edge!?
The events and disasters following are almost slapstick in nature - crazy, but just believable enough and had me totally hooked!
I believe that this author usually writes crime/thriller so this was a huge step away from that! But quite honestly, they have totally nailed their first foray into rom-com!
This was packed with humour from all angles. The characterisation, the narrative, the storyline and all the interactions and dynamics just worked perfectly.
I loved all of Natalie's family - just wait for the christening scenes! - but my favourite character has got to be Natalie's Hungarian Gran, Anoushka!
She's exactly how I'd like to be at her age! Outspoken, no fear and loyal forever!
Some of the things she comes out with just had me laughing out loud!
This one didn't quite end as I'd expected though!
Plotwise it was fine, but the final scene leaves me wondering whether there might be another book to follow - where we see what happens next for Natalie and her love-life?.....
Either way, I can't wait to see what comes next from this author!!
💕Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my ARC copy - this is my honest review 💕
This book is about Natalie Love and her story of finding the RIGHT one. After leaving her fiancé Jamie on the altar on their wedding day, 19-year old Natalie decided to go with her Gran to London. 15 years later, she is now a manager of a theater in London, and she sees Jamie who also works in the theater industry. With Jamie's company establishing a pop-up theater in front of Natalie's, things start to get a little personal in this competition.
I really enjoyed this book. This felt like a dogshow of several real-life celebrities who were mentioned in the book. It was hilarious and had me giggling a lot. For me the star of the show was Natalie's Gran, Anushka. She is a sassy Hungarian woman and the narrator did a fantastic job on the accent. The whole time I was picturing Sheldon's Meemaw from Young Sheldon; they gave off very similar vibes. I love how halfway through the book I was still guessing whom Natalie is gonna end up with. The ending was a nice one and I'm satisfied with how it ended. I can imagine this book being turned into a romcom movie.
I had a fun time listening to this audiobook and I recommend this to everyone who is looking for a fun read.

Delightful, entertaining and laugh out loud funny!
Narration: I can't tell if my laughing out loud was more from the content itself or from the way the narrator acted it out (obv it was both), she was so great! She swiftly moved through accents (gran's accent was so perfectly her) and has just the right note of sincerity and jest at all times
We meet Natalie Love at age 19 right after she left her fiance Jamie at the altar. She loved him, she did, but she felt so young, so inexperienced and unaccomplished and he'd said marriage or nothing so here she was. Her Gran whisked her off to London where she ended up staying and making a life for herself
It's 15 years later and Natalie runs a theater. She's currently working on a production of Macbeth with a young famous American actor who she hopes will generate buzz for her theater. Suddenly Natalie has her hands full between managing the talent, her ex-fiance opening a rival theater across the street with his new stunning girlfriend, her gran moving in unannounced, and the theater board threatening to fire her (just to name a few!) Can she manage it all? And is it too much to ask to throw love on top?
This was so entertaining from start to finish, the true definition of a romcom. It didn't matter how ridiculous some of the situations got, it all added to the fun, and the visuals had me laughing harder. Natalie is one of those down on ur luck but won't go down without a fight, optimistic and good hearted kinda characters that ur easily endeared to and can't help rooting for. Pure fun highly recommend!
