Mellissa Leich presents a compelling, exciting vision for the future in THE POWER OF CHANGE. In clear, conversational prose as if you were sitting together at a kitchen talbe/conference room, Leich guides the reader through the perspectives on change and deeply considering oneself that open up possibilities for adventure, resilience, and empowering others. Integrating heart, mind, and body intelligence, Leich gently and powerfully creates a safe place to reflect, reconsider, and act. Unlike guides that focus on what to do, Leich opens the space to consider the why and move accordingly. I felt smarter and motivated after reading her excellent book. I received a copy of this book and these opinions are my own, unbiased thoughts.
This was a powerful book with a new mindset on taking yourself to the next level and changing your habits. Wigh easy insight into why change is important and a step-by-step way to go forward through the journey of change in anyone's individual goal. A self-help book that I will refer to often as the advice was so insightful and thought provoking.

*Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review*
I usually read fiction, not non fiction and especially not self help books. So this is unusual for me. However, I didn't need to worry because everything discussed is understandable and even entertaining.
The author takes you an a journey about change and transformation, how to accept and adapt to change and how it influences the individual and the group. She gives examples (Like the Nokia one, that hit hard, completely forgot about it), exercises (so its kind of interactive) and case studies.
This is kind of a guide about how to approach change and consequent transformation with a healthy and positive mindset. I'd say this book is for anyone, no matter age, gender or career, since change is inevitable for us all.
I'm not sure how much of this is new information, but it is presented in a logical and systematic way. Leigh explains the reasons for change or stasis, recognizing the cycle of change, and how to implement change and overcome resistance.
This is a book for leaders and influencers. If you sense a change coming, this will give you a structure to approach and take advantage of change.
Each chapter has key takeaways that reinforce and summarize the information so that you could take a team through the book in an abbreviated way - especially for non-readers.
Highly recommended.
