Beautifully illustrated, fun, and informative; definitely would recommend it in the hard cover format versus digital because of that.
This is a wonderful book taking you virtually to wonderful locales and making your mouth water with descriptions of the food you will find there. The artwork in this book is beautiful. The writing inspires you to look further afield for your inspirations. You will want to travel to each location after reading the descriptions and seeing the pictures. What a novel book and so well written.
The author does a wonderful job transporting the reader to each of these places and feeling immersed in each setting. Beautiful descriptions and illustrations too!
It was great to go on a food tour of the world of learn about so many different recipes from around the world.
I am so impressed with the wide-ranging locations of the foodie places that are included in this book. Visit 25 spots; go everywhere from Europe to the Middle East to North America to Asia. I want to pack my suitcase and go to some of these locations.
Everyone will find favorites here. I was drawn to places like Osaka, Oostduinkerke (West Flanders, Belgium), Montreal and Melbourne.
This title has inviting text; readers will get a genuine sense of each location. In addition, the book has beautiful illustrations.
Know a world traveler? Need to get them a gift? You will not need to look any further for a good one.

This book has absolutely beautiful illustrations! Perfect for anyone who is a wanderlust and also a huge foodie! Very educational.
I really enjoyed this lovely book. The illustrations are beautiful - I would genuinely frame some for my wall - and I appreciated the variety of “foodie places” features; not just the usual suspects (although they are here too and I’m glad because I never tire of reading about Venice), but also Nuremberg, Oostduinkerke, Tusheti and more.
This book was such a wonderful find for me. For me, who never gets past my driveway, this book was an escape and an adventure. With beautiful illustrations we go in a journey learning about new places and mouthwatering foods. I love the detail in this book and the story it created for me to discover places and things I’ll only dream of. I highly recommend this one.
If you love travel, and food and would like to know more about where to eat and what specialty you can get there then this book should be one of those for you to read. I found its greatest charm to be the fact that she does not share photos of the food-to me this leaves you with the anticipation of what you may get.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC.
