A wonderful children's picture book that skillfully addresses the issue of littering in a playful and humorous way. When a careless tourist discards a garbage bag that ends up on Grandpa Hedgehog's spiky quills, the story takes an unexpected turn filled with comical encounters. What I enjoyed most about this book is its ability to convey an important message about environmental responsibility while keeping young readers entertained. The illustrations and the lovable character of Grandpa Hedgehog make this a charming and educational read. The book's clever approach to turning a mishap into a spiky adventure not only captivates the imagination but also imparts a valuable lesson about the impact of human actions on the world around us.

This is a delightful story that teaches children, and hopefully, some adults to not litter and to respect the forests and woods where animals live. The illustrations were adorable. I love that at the end there is a letter from Mr. Owl about keeping the outdoors clean.
