Fish Story is a d cute children's book that captures the essence of friendship and adventure. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the escapades of Buster and Holly on their fishing trip. The story not only entertains young readers but also teaches valuable lessons about overcoming challenges and standing up for oneself.
Alright, kiddos, gather 'round because Fish Story is about to take you on a wild ride! Picture this: best buds Buster and Holly are all set for a fishing adventure when suddenly, BAM! A pesky dolphin crashes the party and starts causing chaos left and right. But fear not, because these two pals aren't about to let some bully ruin their fun! With a dash of courage and a sprinkle of determination, Buster and Holly show that true friendship can conquer even the toughest challenges. So if you're in the mood for an epic aquatic adventure filled with laughter, lessons, and maybe even a few fishy surprises, then grab a copy of Fish Story and dive in! Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
This book very much works on two levels.one for the adult reading the book and one for the little ones. It is all written in short words in a single monotone, and yet a lot happens in each little vignette. The two friends are fishing, or at least trying to. They aren’t sure why, they aren’t sure they really want to and to top it off fish are gross and they don’t want them. The visit by the dolphin is hilarious. There is something about Waiting for Godot about this, only in a boat, with a visit by a dolphin. I loved this.
