Welcome to the Family! is a cute children's book that introduces us to the Potato Pups—Crisscut, Hash Brown, Tater Tot, Sweet Potato, French Fry, and their feline friend Z-Kitty. This adorable gang of rescue pups explores new environments, makes friends, and embarks on wonderful adventures, each page bursting with lessons on love, family, and embracing one's uniqueness. I absolutely loved exploring their world with my grand children; it's a feel-good read that leaves you smiling, reminding us of the importance of finding where we belong. Perfect for young readers and the young at heart!
Ever hung out with a bunch of pups named after potatoes? If not, you’re missing out! 🥔🐶 Welcome to the Family! is the book you gotta grab. It’s all about these cute Potato Pups—yeah, like French Fry and Sweet Potato—having a blast and stirring up some trouble. They're quirky, they're fun, and they show what being a family is all about. I couldn’t put it down because, honestly, who doesn’t want to see what kind of mischief pups named after snacks can get into? It’s a book that’ll make you laugh, maybe tear up a bit, and definitely leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. Trust me, you'll want to join this family! ✨
This went down a treat with my little one. The voices and the barking probably helped, however the books lends itself to getting children involved in the telling. All the rescue dogs are introduced with their habits and what makes them special and loved. This is a lovely read that is becoming a bedtime favourite in our house.
