Becoming More Engaged

Elva’s on a mission to win back her fiance, Patrick. But after yet another careless mistake, he's not ready to forgive her. And in a matter of days, she finds herself alone, miserable and quite possibly unemployed.

To distract herself from heartbreak, she flies from Ireland to Chicago to support her family. Although this trip doesn't go to plan, her prospects improve on her return when she rekindles her romance.

But to her surprise terms and conditions are attached when Patrick enters local politics. As pressure mounts from his pushy campaign manager, Elva starts to doubt the strength of their relationship. And when the media makes false claims, she questions the integrity of the whole campaign. 

Armed with a few targeted therapy sessions, she begins to assert her independence for the very first time. She strives to achieve a “happy ever after” that aligns with her newfound principles.

But with a boyfriend who refuses to engage, together with problematic future in-laws, Elva seriously reconsiders her hopes and dreams. And, like, would a life sentence of singledom really be that bad??
