Description
Is Terry's married life a safe, dull routine, or is he about to become a pawn in a web of deception?
Terry’s routine life is shaken to the core when he spots his exact double during his morning commute. This mirror image shakes him to his core and feeds his fantasies of a thrilling future.
Driven by the desire to reinvent himself and match his twin's successful persona, he embarks on a quest to uncover the truth of his identity. Terry wants to share his exciting discovery but is frustrated by his eccentric wife, Gudrun's lack of interest. Secretly, then, he begins a search but it quickly unravels into a Pandora's box of hidden truths and dark impulses, some of which lie deep within himself.
As he delves deeper, Terry is drawn into a different world where trust is a luxury and deception is the norm. By contrast, his twin's stability and success urge him to become the better self he craves. Caught in a set of quandaries, Terry badly needs guidance. Colourful characters surround him, but who can be trusted? What hidden agendas do they harbour? And, most disturbingly, what sinister acts must Terry conceal to protect his identity?
Just as he contemplates revealing his discoveries to Gudrun, he’s blindsided by her own shocking secrets.
While their lives intertwine in a spiral of guilt and moral dilemmas, Terry must confront the question: Who is truly at fault, and who will bear the consequences?
This gripping psychological thriller will challenge your conscience and keep you guessing what will happen next. You'll be compelled by its bizarrely humorous situations, unexpected twists, and dark family mysteries. Dive into this series where every choice presents a risk, and nothing is as it seems.

I loved the premise of this book but it a slower paced read.
Terry sees a man who looks a lot like him and discovers it is his twin.. Then his wife starts acting odd and Terrys life changes.. There are more secrets than answers and with a twist or two the drama of this novel takes a turn.
It is an intriguing read but I found it a little too slow..
This was an interesting read, but I wish it was a bit faster paced! It was a bout a man who discovers he has a twin and then when he tells his wife about it, she starts acting strange and suspicious. The slow burn builds but the ending is not as strong as I was hoping for it to be, it was just okay and felt a bit rushed.
