Description
MESSING UP HISTORY ONE EPISODE AT A TIME
TV director Jared Plummer and his crew are convinced their time-traveling days are over and their show is about to be a huge hit. Too bad no one believes it’s real.
To prove to the world—especially wary television executives—that time-hopping is possible, there’s only one choice.
Do it again.
The destination? Ancient Rome, on the eve of Pompeii’s destruction.
Jared has a personal mission: uncover the identity of two male lovers who died in the eruption, their bodies frozen in a tender embrace for 2,000 years.
What he discovers is a love story as epic as the doomed city itself.
Meanwhile, cameraperson Kara falls in love with Pompeii's most powerful woman. Kara knows she can save her, but that means breaking time travel's golden rule—never fiddle with fate.
Will they finish their film before searing ash buries Pompeii? Or will they, too, become ancient history?
Prime Time Pompeii is the witty, edge-of-your-seat follow-up to Prime Time Travelers. Peopled by a cast of deadly gladiators, shadowy centurions, and a time-traveling thief, this is a Roman holiday you’ll never forget.

This novel is a wonderful page-turning escape, but it's more than that. Neil Laird's Prime Time Travelers merges Egypt's exciting history with the mindset of today for a well-written and entertaining book.
This will leave you both satisfied and longing for more.
Neil Laird does a great job in writing this satirical fiction novel. I loved that Jared was a time-traveler and enjoyed the idea of messing with history. The characters were wonderfully written and had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the story and world.
