This is the second book that carries on from Florida girls which I really enjoyed.
Vegs Girls is as entertaining as the first book. If you like books about the mob, this one will interest you. It is 1945 and these girls are ready to pull off the con of their lives. It will not be easy as the women are confronted by many dubious criminals and the challenges they face will have you holding your breath. A great range of characters, some we have met before and others that we are newly introduced to bring the book to life and show that strong women can survive in this environment and come out on top. Very cleverly written by the author who moves the story along fluidly to hold your attention throughout. A story that explores friendship between women who are facing the wrath of men that are ruthless and determined. Taking on the "Mob." Thelma Miles Wright an 18 year old widow and Mrs. Kathleen Young in her 40's are working for undercover Agent Nelson. Posing as investors coming to make their mark in Vegas...hoping to get the dirt on the organized crime bosses. This was a fast paced novel full of twists and turns. Well written, it was an enjoyable read. While I didn't read the first book "Florida Girls" the next book coming out in June 2025 is "Havana Girls" is one I will surely not want to miss. My thanks to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
