Description
This romcom includes a destination wedding, a touch of Mediterranean spice, and one unforgettable weekend...
Kendra Gambit doesn't do grand love gestures. As a new college graduate and a scuba-diving civil engineer, she's more comfortable inspecting bridge foundations than navigating romance, especially when it comes to blending in with her sister Sonya's celebrity-filled wedding party in Turks and Caicos. But when Sonya pairs her up with best man Sinan Bachar - a neurosurgeon with a winning smile, a trust fund, and a surprising talent for making kebabs. Kendra finds herself swept up in more than just wedding plans.
Sinan doesn't believe in love at first sight - until he meets Kendra. She's practical, whip-smart, and doesn’t seem the least bit fazed by his family's high expectations or his ex's shadow. But their instant chemistry and undeniable connection only complicate things. Both have been burned before, and neither is looking to complicate their lives. Yet, with each passing day under the island sun, they're pulled deeper into each other's worlds, finding comfort in shared humor, lingering glances, and the thrill of new possibilities.
Between sunset dinners, a ten-plus year age gap, chaotic wedding-day antics (starring an unruly papillon in a tuxedo), and a meddling circle of friends and family, Kendra and Sinan must decide if their whirlwind romance is just a vacation fling or the start of something real. Can they learn to trust each other's hearts and find a way to blend their different worlds, or will this be a brief escape from reality?
Get ready to laugh, swoon, and fall in love as Kendra and Sinan discover that sometimes, the best love stories start with a little spice and a lot of heart.
Kebabs and Kisses is the third book in the Destination Wedding trilogy, part of The Way to a Woman's Heart series, and can be read as a standalone. This sexy, contemporary romance is packed with sharp humor, laughs, swoon-worthy moments, unshakable friendships, and a feel-good happily ever after. Enjoy it as a stand-alone delight or dive into the series for even more unforgettable love stories!

One of the book’s greatest strengths is its emotional depth. The characters are not just thrown into a romance—they evolve, face personal struggles, and learn from each other. The slow-burn tension, witty banter, and tender moments make their connection feel organic and compelling.

i never want to hear a bad word about "these types" of books. because the cynic in me was lost to them a very long time ago. they hold so much heart and depth to them. far more than they are given credit for.
sometimes they are too much though, and i mean that in the best way! because i get far to involved and cant bear for our romance to not end in the way it needs to for the two character in love!
Kendra and Tyler were excellent characters. clearly fell in love. but they have things in their life which meant they didnt know whether they could be together. they both had their own doubts. they both had their own family dynamics which were tricky to say the least.
but they were so in love. and it felt real. it felt portrayed just right. the care for each other and the doubts they both had was done brilliantly. the fun, witty and gorgeous moment between the too were both lovely and cute.
the depth of this novel and the two just shone from the pages. it was so much more than the sweet romance i expected. and i got even a little caught up with the emotions of it at times.
this is an excellent book and for those who love the genre i cant recommend it enough.
i dont want to give too much away in the review as in content wise because i think loving this book will happen so much better if you meet these two and their stories on your own. and get to love them and their stories fresh.
