Featured Reviews
What a treat for omnivoracious lovers of all things Romance. RI Quarterly brings us reviews of all genres of romance novels, but widens the field to include must watch (or in some cases must-avoid) television series and movies. With a couple of fun interviews of stars of the genre Julia London, talking about her career and her upcoming books, and Sarah Wendell of Smart Bitches Trashy Books, reading RIQ is a real pleasure. And incidentally, it will have you whipping out your card to order some of the top-rated pre-releases that will be landing in June and July. Do it again in July, please!
Wonderful new magazine
Rachel Hyland Editor-in-Chief and her staff did an excellent job with this the first issue of their magazine that covers much more than romance books. Romance is covered in books, TV, Film and life, and covered well. There are a wide variety of genres covered and a nod to the past and how public attitudes have changed and the books and shows reflect that.
I look forward to reading the next issue.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.
This is a great quarterly magazine. It gives a few articles, some romance book reviews, Even some movies, tv shows etc. a little bit of everything. Looking forward to future issues.
