It’s rare for me to read an extract but I’m glad that I chose to read this as soon as I was given the opportunity to do so. Within the opening chapters you meet a killer, who chooses to remain silent and her psychotherapist who is determined to encourage her to open up. I loved the intrigue, the possible acrimonious work relationship and the feeling that this will be wonderful novel that I suspect will be one of the top books for 2019.
Why does Alicia refuse to talk? Why is it so important for Theo to get answers? And what really happened on the night of the murder? I can’t wait to read more.
