Another little children's book from the Little People Big Dreams series, this one focuses on different artists and it shows pictures of each artist and their names. The illustrations are very nice and they have a unique feel to them. There is not a lot of information on each artist, but this book is a good stepping stone for the little reader, who can then go on and read more in depth books about each artist in the future.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book about Artists which is part of the Little People Big Dreams series has beautiful illustrations and is diverse. The colours and images are engaging and the text is short, ideal for young minds wanting to learn whilst also being inspiring. It is diverse and engaging - I would look to buy for little ones in my life. Whilst it doesn't give a lot of information about the artists (it is rather vague, just one line) it is a great starting point to spark interest and then maybe follow up with the any individuals books with more info that the child takes an interest in. It was would be appealing to girls and boys alike as all leaders are highlighted.

Disclosure : Thank you to NetGalley for the opportunity to read in exchange for an honest review.

My first Artists would be a very welcome addition to any classroom regardless of age.
It's a short introduction to Andy Warhol, Jean Michel Basquiat, Frida Kahlo, Coco Chanel, Picasso, Vivienne Westwood, Louise Bourgeois, and David Bowie.

Each featured artist has its corresponding illustration (as drawn in the original book featuring the artist)- so the book is varied as no two pictures are the same.
The text is inspiring and inspirational and it is a nice addition to the best-selling Little People, Big Dreams books.

I absolutely adore the Little People, Big Dreams series and this compilation book board on famous artists absolutely blew me away! Filled with glorious illustrations, these texts are a fabulous springboard for classroom discussion. I love how they cover such a broad range of famous faces, from scientists to musicians.

I was incredibly impressed with the latest offering from the Little People Big Dreams series. I love how it spoke directly to the reader and encouraged children to change the world, in their own unique ways. The illustrations changed on every page to suit the artist featured, making it a lively and interesting read. I also liked how it included musicians such as David Bowie and fashion designers like Coco Chanel, helping children to see how art can be represented in many different forms.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC - I feel like this book is an essential for every primary classroom and cannot wait to add it to my bookshelf.
