Description
Jatin wants nothing more to do with women. Haunted by his wife’s devastating betrayal and their bitter divorce, the only woman he’d ever be interested in would be one who literally worships the ground he walks on. But that’s impossible in modern India. Jatin is fine living completely alone, growing ever angrier and more violent.
When a catastrophic event confronts him with his own mortality, Jatin has a choice to make. He can continue with his former empty way of life, or he can shape the world he desires. Faced with a beautiful young girl whose mind is a blank slate, he finally has a chance to test his theories about what a woman should be. And, more importantly, about what will make him happy. Jatin becomes a master craftsman, shaping a web of deceit to create the perfect partner. But what will he do when his dream world starts crashing in?
Warning: This book delves into the psyche of a narcissistic antagonist, exploring the harrowing themes of human trafficking and grooming. If you're looking for a traditional story with a lovable hero, this book may not be what you're seeking."

How far will you go to create the perfect partner?
A psychological thriller that explores the dark and twisted mind of Jatin, a man haunted by his past and consumed by a desire for control. After his bitter divorce, Jatin wants nothing to do with women except for the one who worships him. However, this is impossible in modern India, so he decides to create the perfect partner. Using his skills as a master craftsman, he weaves a web of deceit to mold a beautiful young girl's mind into the perfect woman. But when his dream world starts to crumble, Jatin is forced to confront the harsh reality of his actions.
"The Craftsman" is a book that will stay with you long after you've finished reading it.
An exceptional psychological thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The author expertly crafts a complex and nuanced character in Jatin, whose twisted desires and actions are both shocking and all too real. The pacing of the novel is perfect, with just the right amount of tension and suspense building to an explosive climax. Overall, I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a thrilling read with a compelling and unforgettable protagonist.
The Craftsman is a brilliantly written psychological thriller. The relationship plays an essential role in our life. And infidelity can do a serious damage. I felt sad for Jatin, for everything he has to go through but slowly and gradually as his character unlocked and I could see through his soul. He was a man letting his fears getting best of him and stopped him from living little things in life. He also set his own definition of right and wrong and how should be a woman and society. His decision was wrong. His sister Falak did not give up, she tried to help him and later Maira. But destiny is strange. I felt sorry for Maira, she didn’t get an opportunity to make her own choices or set her own definitions. She just let her fate lead her towards her destiny.
The author has created such a brilliant characters and captured the emotions so well. I realised how important it is to socialise and among people. We are easy target and anyone can manipulate us until we meet a variety of people and learn to differentiate between good and bad. It’s a must read.
