Well what's there not to love about Roger and Wesley. They fix other animals toys and realize it feels good to help others. Super cute illustrations and super cute story...loved it!
Roger and Wesley are the best of friends, and share everything; even a favorite toy. Wesley accidentally ripped it in half by sitting on it, and they need to fix it. Suddenly, they have the best idea. Build a workshop.
While they are setting up their plan to build a workshop to fix toys for their friends, they even mention recycling the toys if they can't fix something. How awesome is that?!
"Accidents happen to everyone." is something that really stuck out to me. Children should know that accidents happen, and everybody goes through it.
This story talked about important messages. Accidents happen and that's okay. Helping others is an amazing thing, and will make everyone--including yourself, happy. If something breaks, don't worry, it may be fixable! Author, Elizabeth Hastings, put together a really heart warming book.
