This is a great story. I think this would be great for elementary level kiddos to either read to themselves or read with a parent. I like the small drawings added in as well.

Many thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my gifted copy.

I was babysitting my niece and was reading to her before bed so we picked this book out. We're both cat lovers so we were immediately drawn to this book. It was so cute and charming, and we both loved the little pictures. I would recommend this book.

This is a cute book, great for kids who love cats especially. There is lots of text and sometimes it has words that I think would be difficult for kids to read on their own, but the chapters are quite short. This makes it good to read before bed. The drawings are cute but small.

An intriguing story incorporating science and teamwork with a group of friends on a mission!

To create a unique gift, our group of friends embark on an adventure while witnessing the mystery of nature and learning the beauty of science. I loved how both of these important themes were interwoven into the story. I liked how the science was simplified and repetition was used throughout. The story does a good job in also defining a “process” as well as the patience and acceptance one needs while performing an experiment.

The characters are all very lovely. There is no villain and each character is supportive, understanding and has a willingness to learn or teach. I enjoyed how each character also had a key part to play in the story. Their personalities are simple yet they are still different from each other, which is evident within the narrator’s voice. The writing is evenly paced with a sense of calm. It’s also quite descriptive but forward moving, ensuring that most of the information is presented through the characters dialogues instead of narrative descriptions.

The artwork wasn’t my favorite. Aside from the cover, each chapter starts with artwork of an event happening near the beginning of the chapter. Maybe it’s because it wasn’t colored similarly to the cover, but I found it confusing. The lines weren’t connected, sometimes overlapping, and many ended abruptly; so it was hard to make out what was being shown. I felt like that diminished the purpose of the chapter artwork.

The purpose of this book was the creation of a unique gift, but I think we needed a bit of world building. Such as we don’t know why Louey the cat is teaching Chloe the cloud, or why there are two blue rabbits, or even where this magical land is. I was slightly confused in the beginning but then I remembered that this is a series and it might be revealed in further installments.

Overall, I did like this book. I liked how science was incorporated and simplified in this story. I also enjoyed the characters, although I felt that there may have been a bit too many and some didn’t have enough purpose. I definitely think this is a good story to introduce children to science while also showing the importance of teamwork and patience.

This adorable chapter book is a hidden gem!
Choe the Cloud and Louey the Cat, both genuinely want to help their friend to create a unique one of the kind way gift. With brainstorming between group of friends they capable to realise their plan.

I instanly love the premise and idea about infuse science into storytelling. The writing itself is creative, warm and full with friendly tone. The author successfully explain complex contents into bite size explanation. The scenes and chapter little bit repetitive but it is actually kid friendly, simple and easier to understand.

The characters are smart, adorable and very supportive. They support each other with ideas and inputs. I love see the progress how the ideas manifest become the result. The artwork illustration still open for improvement. It is too simplified compare to the cover.

Thank you to Netgalley and Books Go Social for providing a copy of this ebook. I have voluntarily read and reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is an adorable story featuring Chloe the Cloud and Louey the Cat, who are determined to help their friend solve a problem. In the process, the author manages to weave in a fair bit of scientific information that comes in useful for problem solving!

In addition to the two main characters - who are very cute - there is a whole host of interesting creatures who make up supportive cast members, like Pim and Pom, two curiously coloured rabbits.

Alongside the scientific knowledge used here the story also delivers some important messages about kindness and teamwork. This will appeal to young readers, and would be a good choice when adults are seeking to teach them something as well as to entertain.

Thanks to #NetGalley and #booksgosocial for this book.

This team is cute and unique. A wonderful story for elementary school aged children. In fact, it could probably be broken up into smaller tidbits and read to a younger child as well. I love the science and creativity in every chapter. Kids are never too young to get a dose of information like this. After all, their brains can soak up more than we give them credit for.

The words will capture their attention and get their brains moving. The team that they have, Chloe, Louey, Pom and Pima, are all different and bring their own wisdom to the table. This will show children that everyone has their own gifts, and should feel like they matter.
