Description
Amelie has always been different.
Most high school students find life challenging, but 17-year old Amelie has a lot more to contend with than typical teenage angst. Ever since she turned 11, others have been irresistibly drawn to her-with tragic consequences. Her only escape is at night when she flies to different times and places through her "dreams". Her life begins to change when, on one of her flights, she meets Clovis, an alluring and mysterious young man who hides a secret.
As Amelie finds herself increasingly drawn to him, she learns his story, how it intertwines with her own and finally discovers how to live her life in the real world. Until her own secrets are revealed to the wrong people and that world turns upside down.
Bright Midnights is the second in the Limerent Series and continues in the thought-provoking and beautiful style of the first as it considers different dimensions, different ways of looking at the world, and the transcendental power of love.
A Note From the Publisher
Advance Praise
"A page-turning YA novel about a girl who must reconcile her dream-dimensions with the real world" - Kirkus Review
"The second entry in Delorme’s Limerent Series (after Caio) presents an enthralling, character-rich narrative that intertwines the mundane and the supernatural, delving into the complexities of young-adult life—and the kinds of obsession that “Limerent” suggests—through a layer of fantasy." - BookLife.com Review (EDITOR'S PICK)
"I despaired each time I had to put this riveting novel down and rejoiced each time I came back to it." - Meaghan Wood (Reedsy.com)

LS Delorme went all out yet again. Her writing was intriguing, mysterious, and created a world with complex characters and introduces magic in a realistic world. Amelie has gifts unlike any other typical teen which has drastic and horrific consequences. When she meets Clovis she finally starts to realize how to survive in a complicated world.
I’m beyond words about this book is definitely not an easy one and I have a proper review on my page but damn this was a wild ride that I wasn’t expecting and I really don’t know how to feel.. the end?? Really wasn’t what I was expecting but thank god it wasn’t because I need to see more from Clovis and Amelie and their destiny together
This was an amazing paranormal romance! In this story we follow Amelie during her high school but of course, with some kinda magical challenges. The book didn’t lost my attention in any moment, the author knew how to build the rhythm of the writing very well, making you read everything in one go. Honestly, I loved and would highly recommend it.
