Ann and Rhonda are busy as ever and have some new challenges coming up for sure. There are people staying at the hotel and this will cause problems for sure. This is such a sweet read with drama, romance and just heartfelt goodness. I have enjoyed each of these stories in this series and this might be the best one yet! Looking forward to more adventures with these ladies.
Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel is the ninth book in the Beach House Hotel series. Once again, Judith Keim has given the readers a wonderful story from start to finish! This book will delight fans as well as any readers that are new to this author! Each book in this series can be read as a stand-alone. However, I recommend reading each book in the series because every subsequent book is a bit like going home and catching up with old friends while making new ones at the same time!
Ann and Rhonda know that whenever a request for help comes from the vice-president, trouble is sure to follow. This time, the request is to help Darryl Douglas... a nighttime tv talk show host that is in trouble... and allow him to stay at the hotel for some much needed privacy. They need to think it over and decide to watch his show while sipping on some nightcaps. After talking it over, they end up allowing him to stay in a guesthouse on the property... next door to the other one being occupied by the actress Tina Marks. What could possibly go wrong??
The story that unfolds is one thing after another for Rhonda and Ann. Of course, they expected some trouble, but now they are concerned because the hotel's reputation is at risk! Will saying yes to the favor by the vice-president be their downfall, or will they somehow get through all of the crazy obstacles thrown in their path? One thing everyone knows about Rhonda and Ann is that the words "giving up" aren't part of their vocabulary!
I absolutely loved Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel. I'm a huge fan of the author, and especially this series, but even this book caught me off-guard with the constant craziness Rhonda and Ann have to deal with. I was completely and totally drawn into this story and, at one point, wasn't sure how it would play out. I honestly can't stress enough just how wonderful this book...and series...truly is!
I was given an ARC by the author. My views are my own and are in no way influenced by anyone else.

I have been missing Ann and Rhonda and everyone else at the Beach House Hotel. They always welcome new people they meet into their lives.
This one had a lot of them having to face and conquer things that happen. One of the biggest problem people is Brock, he is the president of the neighborhood association and is always trying to find out who is staying at the hotel. One of the biggest things Ann and Rhonda stick to is when guests stay at the Hotel they are sure of the privacy they are looking for.
This book is part of the Beach House Hotel series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but you will enjoy each book in the series.
Thank you NetGalley, Judith Keim and Wild Quail Publishing for the copy of Nightcaps at the Beach House Hotel. This is my personal review.
In “Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel,” Ann and Rhonda, beloved characters in Judith Keim’s series, find themselves in a precarious situation when they receive a request from the vice-president to provide a private space for a nighttime talk show host, Darryl Douglas, who is experiencing difficulties. Their past experiences have taught them that helping this particular individual often leads to trouble.
As they sip nightcaps while watching Darryl’s show, Ann and Rhonda make the decision to allow him to rent one of the guesthouses at their hotel. Coincidentally, their cherished daughter-of-heart, Tina Marks, is renting the adjacent house with her personal trainer, Abbie Hathaway. This setup creates an interesting dynamic as both parties navigate their respective challenges.
The book could be characterized as a light “beach read” filled with humor and heartwarming moments. It celebrates themes of love, family, and strong women facing challenges with resilience. Readers can expect satisfying twists and happy endings throughout the narrative.
“Nightcaps at The Beach House Hotel” is part of a larger series that includes titles such as “Breakfast at The Beach House Hotel,” “Lunch at The Beach House Hotel,” and many others. Each book features engaging stories centered around relatable characters and their journeys.
I enjoy this series so much. Rhonda and Ann own the Beach House Hotel and there seems to always be some adventure to their guest visits. Brock is the busybody neighborhood president and seems to think he can make decisions on everything without any power. Enter some difficult guests, some unexpected situations, and you have another great Beach House Hotel story. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion. Don't miss out on this fun read!
What a marvelous book. It was like visiting friends and a catching up on their lives. I felt as though I was walking on the Florida sand with Annie and her new hotel guests. There was drama and lots of weddings. It’s a heartwarming book. I just love this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
Another adventure at the Beach House Hotel, with new people wanting to come for the privacy, but Brock is still there. It does get exciting with trying to stay one step ahead of a problem, putting out the fires when they are only sparks, and surviving all that happens, to be open for more visitors. It is a fast read with all that is going on, because I couldn't stop reading until the end.
I received an ARC from Judith Keim.
This is a book in a series but can be read as a standalone. lovely books. great setting, and good characters.
