I got an advance copy of this through NetGalley and it’s a very accessible book. I am a trainee counsellor and it was great to read about some types of therapies I hadn’t come across before. I am also a coach and there was some cross over there. A few bits pointed specifically towards American systems - particularly around ethics but it didn’t detract from understanding or enjoyment.
This book is like a backstage pass to the mind! In A Scholarly Journey Through Psychology, Dr. Cornwall breaks down the big ideas in psychology, from why we think the way we do to how behavior can change lives.
