Description
The Practicing Productivity Planner is for anyone who wants to get things done.
The exercises in this book will help you to uncover your core values and set meaningful goals that support the areas you want to focus on in your life. Using the planner’s unique framework, you will create a flexible plan to achieve your dreams.
You’ll learn how to set S.M.A.R.T. goals that challenge and motivate you. You’ll make a formal commitment to achieving these goals. You’ll use journaling, habit-tracking, and self-reflection alongside your daily, weekly, and monthly planning to make progress every day, celebrate your wins and find areas in which you can improve.
This planner is particularly useful if you struggle with discipline, direction, or organisation as the powerful exercises not only help you to connect emotionally with your goals, but are also based on behavioural science research that gives you the best chance of achieving your dreams.
Whether you’re studying, building a business, switching careers, or just want to change your life and conquer your goals, the exercises inside this planner will guide you every step of the way. Plus, the undated planner means that you can start any time.
The Practising Productivity Planner is unlike other goal-setting planners and journals. The first half of this book contains a unique framework that guides you through the process of discovering your values and focus areas in life before setting meaningful and powerful goals that support them.
The second half of the book contains a powerful planner that helps you relate the small actions you take each day to the huge goals that you set yourself. This planner also encourages you to reflect on your progress with weekly and monthly check-ins to help you identify which areas you should focus on to make even more progress.
The Practising Productivity Planner goal-setting and planning framework has helped me to achieve so much in my life that I felt I had to share it with the world. In fact, in some ways, this book actually helped to write itself!

I like how the daily planner in this book helps break down goals into small actionable steps, and it's encouraging to tick that column marked complete!
I got this book yesterday, and tried it this morning for some tasks that I had to get done, and the sense of satisfaction I've got by completing half of what I had set out yesterday just makes me smile.
Thanks Netgalley for the eARC. This is the book I'd recommend to anyone who is struggling with getting things done, and even tracking their growth. For writers who are participating in the upcoming NanoWrimo, this is something to try.
I received this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
This informative book in ebook form has links to the productivity pages he outlines in the text. Great for those unfamiliar with the SMART method of planning. As a bullet journal planner, these insights have become a useful tool to me. I recommend to anyone wanting to evaluate living skills and plan for the year. Beneficial for business, home living, finances, etc.
It's a bit of a diluted version of all common goal-achieving books and planners but it's worthwhile for anyone getting started in this.
This planner is split into creating your goals, and then achieving them. I appreciate that there is a massive focus on creating the goals because I've found this to be the most important part.
With the regular goal techniques, there's nothing new or revolutionary, but it's laid out well. It has the usual SMART goals, making them the right amount of challenging, creating milestones, writing things down, and committing to the plan (with a template for signing a contract with yourself).
I loved the questions to uncover your values, and I love the name.
"The Practising Productivity Planner is for anyone who wants to get things done. Whether you struggle with motivation, discipline, direction or organisation, the tools and frameworks here will help you to set meaningful goals, commit to them, and follow through with a clear plan for how to achieve them".

It’s a great little goal planner; breaks down the goal setting process well. Beginners will benefit from it, but if you’ve read a few goal setting books, you’d know most of this already. Still, I liked the way it’s laid out & presented.
A good starting point for those wanting to kick start their productivity.
